Cowes Week
August 2 @ 8:00 am - August 8 @ 5:00 pm
Cowes Week takes place at the start of August, positioned on the social calendar between Glorious Goodwood and the Henley Royal Regatta. First held in 1826, Cowes Week is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious sailing regattas. Each year, this iconic event features around 40 races daily, drawing up to 1,000 boats and approximately 8,000 competitors—from Olympic champions and elite sailors to passionate amateurs. Set against the backdrop of the Solent, Cowes Week is the largest sailing regatta of its kind globally. The event is organized by Cowes Week Limited and hosted in the charming seaside town of Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
